Vizio XVT373SV

Though Vizio had to make some sacrifices, its XVT373SV finally brings LED to the sub-$1,000 market of HDTVs.

Less expensive than other local dimming LED-based LCDs; reproduces relatively deep black levels with very good shadow detail; accurate, well-saturated color; excellent bright-room performance; solid uniformity; superb streaming and widget content via...

More blooming than some local dimming LEDs; black areas tinged blue; couldn't handle 1080p/24 content properly; poor off-angle viewing; fewer picture controls than some high-end HDTVs; generic looks.

The Vizio XVT3SV series' excellent picture quality, thoughtful design, scads of features, and reasonable price combine to make it the best value among high-end LED-based LCD TVs today.

Vizio XVT373SV Review – 37-inch LED LCD HDTV

Vizio hasn't reserved the goodies just for the high end models; the smaller sizes also get a decent share of features. This 37-inch model may be a bit small for the elite consumers but it suffices well as a second TV in their house for the kids' room....

"Expensive junk."

It's cheap, and I don't mean that in a good way.

Good picture quality for a TV of this type.

Multiple technical difficulties during the 14 months between purchase and total failure of the display panel. I told Vizio it's wrong for a $1,400 TV to completely fail after just 14 months--their attitude can be summed up as: 'too bad, so sad.'
