Don't do it, it dissolved completely when I rinsed under tepid water for 5 seconds. This one says washable, as well, but I haven't tried rinsing it to clear out the dust!

Pros: Aesthetically pleasing. Large holes so good flow of salt or pepper. Cons: both same, so cannot determine which is salt and which is pepper. Large holes on side, so salt and pepper are always spilling on to table.
