I do not think it has lasted very well as a couple of months ago it smelt stronly of burning, nothing caught up in the wheels etc. so have concluded the motor was burning out. Have disposed of it and would not reccommend this to anyone else.

The regular Miele vacuum bags are entirely too expensive. These bags are a great substitute at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Service was quick.

Like the coloured tag on lead to indicate when the lead has been pulled out far enough, I think that's how I broke my last hoover by pulling the lead to the max.

To much faffing about with the water preparation bottles/cristals. The mop was the best available at the timer but there are now better ones on the market now that can be filled from the tap. Do not expect such a great clean from just using steam.

I didn't read all the reviews and I just assumed a 1400 model was similar....wrong. I gave it a 4 so others would avoid my mistake, but the filter is probably very effective on the right models.
