I bought this 5 years ago and it is still going strong. My wife and I use it every day. We have had no problem with charging life, or battery strength. It has a small footprint and fits nicely in our laundry room. Light-weight and easy to empty.

The vacuum cleaner is strong robust and is good on stairs, tiled floors in bathrooms and carpets. It does get hot and is a little heavy but worth the money and the end result is excellent.

This is my second Metropolitan. The 4HP motor is real and makes a difference. The new beater-bar attachment seems to have improve durability over earlier models. Not the cheapest vacuum cleaner, but one of the best.
