I bought one of these filters in 1998. I've been using (and abusing) it regularly since then. I hose it out every month or so. It does clog up pretty quick if sanding sheetrock, but its washable.

While this is an excellent tool accessory, I really should not have had to pay for this. I believe it should come as standard equipment with Rigid shop vacs. I KNOW I will use it a lot more than wet pick-up squeegee attachment that came standard.
