The latest Dirt Devil is a step up from the original,more powerful and no dust bags.I am now 75 and find it easy to opperate down the stairs and clean the car interior..A great buy.Only concern is that the cable could be 2 meters longer.

Went for the name Dirt Devil..wish i didnt,very noisey, and it took ages to hover my car up,i was thinking the smaller the hover the easyier the job would be, think i will stick to my upright..

Wanted a portable vacuum cleaner for doing 2 flights of stairs - this is perfect. Works very well, very manouverable and a very good price. Solved the cable and accessory storage issue mentioned by others by buying a small storage box to keep it all in.
