Dyson 360 Eye

The Dyson 360 Eye is the one of the best robot vacuums you can buy thanks to its impressive cleaning and navigation abilities, but you can find similarly equipped alternatives for less money.

Powerful cleaning abilities. Accurate navigation thanks to 360-degree camera. Can be controlled by multiple phones. Scheduled cleaning through app.

Very expensive. Can't clean under low furniture or in tight corners. Battery life could be longer.

The main issue is price. For $300 less, you can pick up the aforementioned Neato Botvac Connected. It offers many of the same features, including Wi-Fi control and similar cleaning performance. It isn't quite as sleek as the 360 Eye, but it'll keep...

Dyson's first robot vacuum cleans up -- for a price

Dyson's 360 Eye robot vacuum can suck up the stuff on your floors, but it'll cost ya.

Dyson's 360 Eye robot vacuum systematically maps out floors, has a simple companion app for remote access, and is powerful enough to collect a lot of unwanted dirt and grime.

It costs $999/£800 and didn't perform as well as the similarly app-enabled $700 Neato Botvac Connected or the $900 iRobot Roomba 980.

The 360 Eye by Dyson is a very good robot vacuum, but competitors offer similar features and better performance for less.

Dyson 360 Eye Review: A great robo-vac with blind spots

Dyson 's first robot vacuum arrives with plenty of fanfare, promising more suction than the competition, more flexible trundling on its tank tracks, and smarter cleaning with vision-based navigation. As with all the British icon's products, however,...

Excellent cleaning ; Compact footprint more nimble around chair legs ; App is straightforward and summaries are useful ; Potential for firmware to address shortcomings

Very expensive ; Tank tracks aren't infallible ; Edge performance can be hit and miss ; No way to block off zones or no-go areas

Dyson 360 Vis Nav

Now available in the U.S., Dyson's new robot vacuum boasts plenty of suction power and can reach into corners, but it underwhelms when it comes to obstacle avoidance and battery life.

Good suction power ; Reaches along edges and inside corners ; Easy to clean ; Effective purification of exhaust air

Very expensive ; Lacks mopping function and self-emptying bin ; Poor navigation system ; Poor obstacle detection

The Dyson 360 Vis Nav delivers in terms of pick-up and reaches into corners and along edges, but that’s where it ends. The battery life is catastrophically poor, resulting in an unreasonably long cleaning time. It makes a lot of noise and has poor...

Dyson 360 Eye

Say hello to Dyson's robot vacuum cleaner, the Dyson 360 Eye. More than 10 years and £28 million after its first attempt, Dyson thinks it's finally cracked the formula.

Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum cleaner review

A great first robotic attempt from the vacuum specialists

Quiet operation ; App is easy to use ; Compact width

Not the most thorough clean ; Tall height

The 360 Eye is a great first attempt at a robotic vacuum cleaner from Dyson. It delivers the same exceptional build quality we’ve come to expect from the brand, and looks set to be a significant competitor to iRobot’s Roomba line. It’s got a couple of...

Dyson 360 Eye review: despite what every other reviewer says, really not quite the finished article

UPDATE: New software adds low power mode and battery gauge. Overall improvement: dubious so far

Great cleaning for a robot ; Small footprint

Navigation isn't class leading ; Feels overpriced ; No spot cleaning mode

Dyson 360 Heurist review: Suck it to 'em

The Dyson 360 Heurist is an update to the Dyson 360 Eye, its then first robot vacuum cleaner. So is it second-time success or difficult second album?

Impressive suction power results in superb cleaning ability ; Straightforward controls - physical / in app / Alexa voice ; Capable tank tracks help avoid obstacles being a problem

Often has to return to dock during cleans ; Not immune from geting stuck ; Tall - so won't fit under everything ; Small dustbin

A pricey robo-vac, but there's a reason for that: Dyson's second-gen automated cleaner has super power - whether on carpet, wood or otherwise - that helps it stand out from the crowd.

Dyson 360 Eye robot vacuum cleaner review: Finally, a robotic vacuum that really works

The Dyson 360 Eye is, in short, the best robotic vacuum on the market to date, but don't expect to never have to do the vacuuming again

Powerful cleaner ; Small enough to get into tight spaces ; Accompanying app makes for easy setup ; Future software updates get automatically added ; Day scheduling

Height means it won't fit under every thing (like low radiators) ; You'll need to remember to empty the dust bin ; No way to restricting to a room unless you close the door

The Dyson 360 Eye is pricey, there is no denying that, especially against the competition. Its £799 asking price is more than most other robo-vacs. However, it's markedly better than its competition so, pound for pound, we believe it's worth it.

Dyson's first robot vacuum cleans up -- for a price

The Dyson 360 Eye is a solidly recommendable robot vacuum. Of the dozen-plus autonomous floor cleaners we've tested to date, it (mostly) holds its own alongside the best of the best. There's just one not-so-tiny problem -- price.

Dyson's 360 Eye robot vacuum systematically maps out floors, has a simple companion app for remote access, and is powerful enough to collect a lot of unwanted dirt and grime

It costs $999/£800 and didn't perform as well as the similarly app-enabled $700 Neato Botvac Connected or the $900 iRobot Roomba 980

The 360 Eye by Dyson is a very good robot vacuum, but competitors offer similar features and better performance for less.
