Very good suction on various floor types. Very good at picking up dirt on wooden floors - have had another bagless cylinder which just pushed dirt around on the wooden floor which was half price but this one doesn't lose suction even when full...

I like it because its compact, I keep it upstairs ( at the bottom of a wardrobe ) to use to save carrying my larger model up and down. I would not be without it now.

It should have come with a longer extension and the wire is too short as compared to my older Electrolux vacuum cleaner.
