Fast, good at untangling itself, high charging base return rate, voice alerts, detects dirtier spots

Only one sweeper, noisy

The iRobot Roomba 530 robot vacuum cleaner is a handy little home appliance that sweeps and sucks up mess while comically zipping around your home, bumping into things and being awesome.

Entertaining. Vacuums well. Returns to his "home" after he's finished. I understand I can use serial or bluetooth to talk to him, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Hard to think of a good name for him. Settled on Deeter. Have to clean his rollers and bin/filter every two or three charge cycles.

Great for daily cleaning. Saves a lot of time. Handles obstructions much better that previous models.

Noisy - handles walls ok, but bumps into furniture legs with a loud whack.

This rocks! I never had my apartment this clean ever. Roomba does its job. It may not be perfect but it is better that what i would (not) have done.

There is lot more improvement can be made thats why i gave 4 starts. It got stuck once between our chords on the floor.

This is about the best thing we have ever used ; keep it charged and let it go when you need to clean

Auto docks, cleans well on hardwood, disassembles easily, wont go down steps, virtual walls work well, naviagates around obstacles well. It does alright on dog hair.

Not pwerful and bad on long hairs. This is more of a sweeping replacement, which is great on hardwood but you really dont get a deep clean on carpet. It also requires cleaning/maintenance regularly, I even had a hair ball in the gear box after 2...
