The Roomba i7+ is iRobot's best vacuum robot yet -- mostly, because it can finally empty itself after every cleaning job. It's something the company has always been working towards, but its high price makes a tough sell for most consumers.
Excellent cleaning performance ; Much quieter than before ; Clean Base automatically empties bin ; Room mapping is more useful
Very expensive ; Requires proprietary bags ; (which are also very expensive)

The range-topping, reimagined Roomba i7+ offers great cleaning performance, multi-floor mapping and automatic dirt disposal, throwing shade on discount dirt-busters. We wouldn't be surprised to see other robovacs follow suite by copying many of the...
Excellent cleaning performance ; Automatic dirt disposal ; Persistent, multi-floor mapping ; Easy scheduling and single room cleaning ; Google Home/Amazon Alexa voice control
Expensive ; Bulky Clean Base can be a challenge to position ; Dirt disposal system is loud
It would be easy – if a little lazy – to call the Roomba i7+ “the iPhone of robot vacuums” given its high price tag and premium features, but that certainly seems to be where this model is positioned. At $949, the i7+ is very expensive, especially...

With the ability to empty its own dustbin, iRobot's Roomba i7+ is the first robot vacuum we've tested that truly does all of the work for you.
Expert review by : Michael Ansaldo (techhive.com)
Robot vacuums are great timesavers—at least until their small dustbins fill up. The Roomba i7+ is smart enough to empty its own.
Excellent cleaning performance ; Self-emptying dustbin ; Can map multiple floor plans
Clean Base requires more floor space than conventional dock ; Expensive
It’s hard to overstate how impressive the iRobot Roomba i7+ is. It’s the first product to fulfill the robot vacuum’s promise to completely automate one of the most-hated household tasks. The implementation isn’t perfect—the Clean Base’s space...

Robot vacuums are nothing new, they've been around since the late 90s and early 2000s but one of the most recognizable brands is iRobot and their Roomba series. I've been using the Roomba i7+ for a number of weeks and while it's not the best, it does...
on iRobot Roomba i7+ Review ; Great smart home integration ; The mapping feature makes it easier to clean certain areas ; Picks up most dirt and debris ; The self-emptying feature is cool ; Good cleaning time ; Disney announces new Marvel shows coming...
Clean Base is very loud ; Expensive ; AllergenLock bags are an added cost ; Overall cleaning could be better
Overall, the iRobot Roomba i7+ is a good robot vacuum that does the job, has lots of smart features and sensors but is also on the expensive side.

We allowed the iRobot Roomba i7+ to enter our apartment. Here's how the vacuum cleaner robot behaves when tasked with cleaning by itself.
Excellent cleaning system ; Container empties itself ; Smart apartment mapping ; Efficient sensors ; Complete app ; Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant
Price is high ; Noisy cleaning system ; Base positioning can be difficult
The Roomba i7+ is a really complete robot in every aspect and its automatic emptying function makes it absolutely not comparable with any of the competitors currently on the market. The only barrier to the purchase of this vacuum cleaner robot is the...

After testing the iRobot Roomba i7+ for over a month, we think it's the best robot vacuum that money can buy.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is great at learning your home's layout and is ideal for challenging surfaces and areas with lots of obstacles. It's a solid performing robot vacuum, too. And, yes, the Clean Base is impressive and easy to empty — especially for...
Excellent navigation ; Able to clean just one room ; Clean Base is easy to empty ; Fast cleaner
Expensive ; Clean Base is very loud ; Cleaning could be more thorough
As a smart robot vacuum with superior mapping that empties itself, the iRobot Roomba i7+ looks great on paper. But for the price, you deserve better performance.
