Built-in Durability

My previous vacuum cleaner was bought used from a thrift store. A mere $12 bought a 1960s era Eureka with mostly metal components.I still use it and it does a very good job of vacuuming. As time marched on I was given newer vacuums for ...

Made in the USA!!! Quality components. Very good suction. Easy to adjust beater-bar height

Heavy if you are required to lift the vacuum off the floor

1986-2003 - R.I.P.

I bought the Heritage II from a buddy getting into Kirby sales back in 1986. Boy did Kirby teach him how sling cr*p. I was told how each grain of sand has 17 "cutting edges" that would destroy my carpet, I was shown the myriad features and attachments ...

Good Suction- Durable

Heavy- Can clog- Questionable value

I hate my Kirby

Purchased a new Kirby Heritage II back in 1989 from the local door to door salesman. Salesman was excellent! The Kirby has turned into nothing but a pain! I still have it and still have to use it as I can't afford to do anything else at this point. ...

Zip brush attachment-excellent. Hoses and hose attachments-good.

Everything else-horrible!

Finally a Quality Vacuum Cleaner

I have just recently moved out to be on my own and with my first apartment I needed different things for the first time. I was given a used Dirt Devil MVP from my sister and her husband-to-be. I thought that this would suffice for all my vacuuming ...

My First REAL Vacuum!

Ok, Lets get it over with: There is no denying that this is an expensive machine(new) & some of Kirby's sales techniques are questionable. I bought this machine of eBaY for $200 after having a four-hour home demo of the new machine. Features: The ...

Powerful, Multi-Functional, Good filtration, Glides easily and has variety of quality attachments!

Expensive if bought new, sales tactics are questionable (Not always some Kirby agents are great)

CLEAR THE CITY! Its Vacuumin' time, Kirby style.

Life was goin well, the birds were singing and the house was squeaky clean, I don't think so. But I was happily vacuuming along with my old Electrolux canister that I used to use. Well, I was talking with my aunt who purchased her Kirby Legend II new...

Holds up fairly well, Shampoos the rugs, Dog Vacuuming Attachment, Cleans Carpets well

Its heavy, I mean it. Suck up a penny and the fans shot.

This one beats my Electrolux anyday

I must say my grandfather was the one who bought this Kirby back in 1976. It is still going strong. He has since passed and it has been sitting in his restaurant's basement. The restaurant is now my mother's and aunt's. I can remember when I was...

The HumVee of Vacuums

First of all, I love my Miele (see my review). When I vacuum this is the machine I use, and love. I had a 'commercial' Panasonic upright that I bought in the late 80's. However, my cleaning lady, who I swear was half gorilla, somehow managed to keep...
