The Vision Pro is a big leap for spatial computing in an unfriendly package.
Futuristic. Eye-tracking and gesture controls are impressive. The micro-OLED displays are exquisite and immersive. I love having multiple virtual screens around me.
Heavy. Expensive. Isolating. Buggy.

The Apple Vision Pro headset is a marvel of AR/VR technology with an intuitive interface, a groundbreaking control system, and one huge caveat: You probably can't afford it.

Switching to the Vision Pro is like you're unleashing the digital world into the real one, and that sure feels both good and empowering. I think it's extremely easy to take all the innovation and tech magic happening in the Vision Pro for granted.
Shows you the future of computing ; Impressive performance ; State-of-the-art image quality ; Full-featured operating system ; Qulity build
Short battery life ; Front-heavy and uncomfortable for longer sessions ; Fabrics require maintenance

The question isn't whether you should buy it. The question is how the future of your computer - and your phone - is evolving right in front of your eyes.
Spatial video and spatial photos are must-see features ; Interactive digital experiences open new possibilities ; High fidelity video competes with the best quality TVs ; Immersive environments feel like being on a holodeck
Eye tracking needs to regularly be re-calibrated ; Uncomfortable to wear for extended use ; Immersive apps are still early and limited ; Not good for exercise or other active uses

Apple's Vision Pro boasts incredible visuals with no discernible screen door effect due in part to its automatic interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment...
Visually superb with great sound ; Automatically gauges IPD ; Three storage tiers ; Suitable for app work and movie immersion
Extremely pricey ; Limited gaming capabilities ; Motion blur ; No built-in battery
Apple's Vision Pro boasts incredible visuals with no discernible screen door effect due in part to its automatic interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment. The sound is excellent, as well, so there is plenty to enjoy for a sense-tingling immersive...

After six months with Apple Vision Pro, things feel stuck. A glacial rollout of immersive content, a lack of native apps, and no word of Apple Intelligence make the $3,500 product harder to swallow.

The Apple Vision Pro has the potential to revolutionize VR and AR with its lightweight design, sheer power and lack of controllers, but it's priced out of reach for most.
Nevertheless, the Vision Pro feels like a breakthrough for spatial computing and augmented reality, and I can't wait to test the final version.

This mixed-reality headset redefines the genre
Powerful ; Precise and intuitive control ; Fantastic visual experience ; Spatial video is excellent and emotionally charged
I wish it was lighter ; A battery pack that you can't leave behind ; Expensive
There has never been a mixed-reality headset quite like the Vision Pro. It raises the bar on visual quality, eye and gesture tracking, and the overall experience in a way that alters your conception of the real world. Despite the significant caveats of...

This is what it's like to wear and use Apple Vision Pro, the new AR/VR spatial computing headset
Relatively comfortable ; Fantastic visual experience ; Intuitive interface ; Spatial video is wild
External battery ; Price
30 minutes with Apple's new spatial Reality Platform was all it took to convince me it's the real future of virtual and augmented reality. Even if it will cost an arm and a leg.

Apple seems to be struggling to understand AR and VR.
