The $879 Electrolux EFLW317TIW front-load washing machine scored high in stain removal. Its circular digital screen is easy to read.

This washer is tough on clothes and has fewer features than other models in its price range.

Electrolux's EFLW317TIW is a good washer, but the better-performing Electrolux EFLW417SIW costs just $20 more.

Electrolux EFLW317TIW review

The Electrolux EFLW317TIW is a solid entry-level washing machine that will fit neatly into your home, large or small.

Spacious drum ; Very energy efficient

Only opens on the left side ; No quick wash

This no-nonsense washing machine by Electrolux is ideal for getting the job done, and with a drum size of 4.3 cubic feet, it’s roomy enough to deal with most loads of washing. Some extra features would have been nice for the price though.
