My wife bought this at the department store where she works at about 80% discount, therefore worth the price. If we had paid full retail then I would have returned it. If your going to pay retail on this webcam, defintely go with something else like...

Easy setup, worked perfectly in minutes on windows XP. Clip on fits nicely on Samsung 22" monitor. Manual movement has nice range. I believe it is 360 degrees. Up and down range is nice too

Agree with the other reviewers. Very grainy. Picture quality not that good. Seems the other reviewers had problems setting it up and the cam working. Also seems they all had Vista. That tells ya something. Worked perfectly on my Dell with XP

Another H/P piece of junk

Having experienced H/P "customer support" in reference to my PC, i didn't even bother trying to get "support" for this. Just like the equipment that they ship out, customer support, doesn't work. STAY AWAY FROM H/P-Compaq!

Maybe i just got a bad one, but the picture does work. When i say it works, im saying that you can make out objects. I have seen other 2-megapixel webcams that look so much better. The picture for this one was so grainy, and did not have very good...

Where to start? I gave alot more for this webcam than anyone should, maybe thats why I'm so disappointed. Everything seemed to install ok when i first hooked it up - but the built in micophone didn't work. I called HP thinking it would be a simple fix....
