Fragile And Worthless

Taking it apart requires force, as the cage the cam is bolted in to is too small for it (looks like the engineer designing it didn't take into account the bulk of ribbon cables). Worse, the cage is made of the same flimsy plastic. Since it takes force...

Pan and tilt from a remote location is nice. Zooms in a long way

So-so low light performance, gets very grainy very quickly. Picture quality is acceptable at higher res settings, but can only to 10fps in the higher setting. No integrated screenshot or video capture ability. Requires Internet Explorer (What's the...

Dlink doesn't care

The product only has to be flashed with the original firmware once every week so far.

This camera is officially not supported for ANY BROWSER OTHER than IE.

Whoa is this product deceiving

IF D-LINK TECH SUPPORT WERE TOILET PAPER I'D RATHER USE SAND PAPER. Dlink Customer support is garbage we bought 6 of these cameras because they were priced well and included Auto Patrol and they have been nothing but a headache. Dealing with Tier 1&2...

Great optics, streaming recording to a NAS drive

Auto Patrol" does not actually auto patrol as you would think it makes one sweep of preset locations and stops, that was news to d-link. It is slow to respond to internet controls. After running a Autopan or Auto Patrol if your preset location or pan...

Dlink doesn't care

Do these people are trying to foist garbage onto the unwitting and unsuspecting public. Buy anything else.

The product only has to be flashed with the original firmware once every week so far. The tech support in the United States is very knowledgeable in comparison to the Tiers 1&2 housed offshore.

This camera is officially not supported for ANY BROWSER OTHER than IE. It does not work with Safari, Firefox, Opera or Netscape! According to Tier 3 tech support, one must use XP to use product. Occasionally, one must re-flash the firmware to bring the...

Pretty good buy

I'm replacing another brand that died and the manufacturer won't service.

Very compact. An outdoor cover is available. Can be mounted upside down or rightside up (picture can be inverted in the configuration). Setup is very easy with the included software, it finds the camera automatically. Also includes free IP surveillance...
