The D-Link Wireless AC Day/Night Camera With Color Night Vision (DCS-2136L) delivers color video in any lighting environment, but it doesn't offer cloud-based storage and its night vision color could be more vibrant.

If you're looking for a pan/tilt IP camera for security purposes, but you don't need the top-shelf performance and design features that drive the price of more business-centric models like the Axis M5014 beyond five bills, the $250 (as of August 5,...
Relatively inexpensive, considering the resolution ; Local storage on a MicroSD card ; Remote access is easy to set up
Exposed lens and pan/tilt mechanism ; Has three wildly different user interfaces ; Small online video window isn't resizable
Although the DCS-5222L is a good value among IP cameras, the footage it provides isn't as crisp as 720p video should be.

D-Link's strategy to get you into its MyDlink IP cameras is quite insidious. First, you buy one of the company's low-cost cams to look at the baby in the crib. Then, you buy one to point out the front door. Pretty soon, you have a 1,000-eyed beast that...
Clunky web interface; switches to night mode too easily

The setup of the unit is straightforward and requires an initial connection via ethernet. This process allows you to choose between wireless (802.11n) and wired (ethernet) connections. It also allows you to set up a D-Link account to log into your...
This device has so many useful features we have only scratched the surface in this review. However, its a shame that with such a rich feature set the device is let down by a poor quality image sensor. For a better image without pan and tilt, its all...

The D-Link Cloud PTZ is a £130 smart home-security camera that records in 720p HD and features motion detection and night vision. Uniquely the camera lets you pan and tilt remotely, so you can focus on anything in the room. Our security expert tried...

In addition to this camera, I owned 3 more D-Link brand cameras: DCS-930L and two DCS-932L. Both cameras are pretty reliable and still in service for about 2 years. This is first camera that died on me after 6 months of service. I guess D-Link started...
Good image quality for IP camera, ability to pan/patrol. Multiple image quality profiles
Not reliable. During 6 months I owned it, 3-4 times became unresponsive and required power cycle. Then one day green led no longer is on and camera is not accessible at all. Tried direct LAN connection, hard reset

The unit itself is fairly lightweight which made mounting this to the wall with the 90 degree wall mount that came with the unit a breeze ; Wi-Fi setup was a breeze since my wireless router has WPS. I simply pressed the button on the router waited for...
