Best camera I have tried

This thing has great ir coverage at night and a great picture both day and night. I have tried a lot of different camera's and this one is really the sweet spot between quality and price

The mounting arm is hard to get tight enough to prevent it from moving around

Best all in one security cam I have found

I have 4 of these and they are probably the best bang for your buck out there in IR color security cams. The IR performance is good and the day time performance is not bad

There are some gain steps that are pretty course with these cameras that can set off motion sensor software. When the light changes the gain changes suddenly and triggers a motion event. This is an annoyance but not a deal breaker. Everything in the...

Excellent cam - buy this one

Superb picture quality and great industrial aluminum design. Also you get warning stickers for your windows. I use this cam as a front door monitor so my wife can see who's outside without answering or looking through the peephole. I have it mounted...

It was kind of awkward attaching the sun shield. The screws are tiny. The mount is kind of cheap. I sheared off one of the heads with a power screwdriver. However, it's strong enough with only 3 screws to hold the cam securely. Use scissors to cut open...

Great Value

A good camera for under $100

Plug it in and go. Great picture quality for the price. Easy to assemble. Comes equipped with 60 ft. extension cable

The packaging... cheap, plastic packaging that must be destroyed to get to the camera. You actually could cut yourself on this hard, sharp plastic

Still going good after a year

The optional lens is actually quite easy to install. Once the cover has been unscrewed, remove the little screw holding the IR panel in place, and let the whole thing fall into your hand--it'll dangle ok on it's lead. this allows full access to the...

Got it from the 'Egg over a year ago, and it's still going strong. It's been in 100+ deg F, to -5. It's also been subjected to 40+ mph winds, and again, no problems. It runs 24/7 on my weather site as a backyardcam. (One only need to do a search on my...

Like many of these types of cams, there is a thin black line that runs down the side of the image. It's approx. 1/8 inch wide at 640x480. It's not enough of an issue to stop me from getting another cam, and should get it 4 stars--but due to long time...

Look elsewhere

I'm useing it in my backyard to watch the wildlife without scaring, and looking for another camera for the serious business of monitoring my property.

Night vision is decent, even in no light conditions

Mounting bracket will not hold the weight of the camera (it is not the bracket depicted on Newegg), be prepared to spend another $15 - $25. The installed lens is 6mm, installing the supplied 12mm lens is near impossible without breaking IR components....
