I bought the camcorder for hunting,it would of been nice to know that it has a loud beep when turning on. I recommend an extra battery because the original does not last long. Over all it is a very nice camera for the low price.

I have only had the camcorder for a few days and have not had a chance to go over all of the features. But so far, I am pleased with the quality of the video and photos and the ease of use of the camcorder.

A great unit with incredible 1080 HD Stereo 3D 24p recording at low cost. However the MP4-MVC is unusable as a single file (but can be LR split but that loses work flow speed). AVCHD all good as are the MPO stills. A good option for fast S3D content...

The JVC GX-R450B is an excellent camera for the outdoors. Other cameras can capture higher quality video and may be easier to work with, but they can't shoot in the rain or snow like the R450B can.
