Does not shut down. Remote rarely works. Constantly freezes where you have to pull the plug to reset. Only one month return policy - shame of Amazon for carrying this garbage. Waste of money.

I had no problems with using it with a HDRFox recorder although I use manual switching anyways, but works well and with no issues, as others have said LEDs are bright, but with some coloured tape over them it dims them down.
