The alaTest Team is Growing
In the past month, the alaTest team has added a couple new members to our Stockholm office: Helena Ahlin, and Christer Pettersson. Both will be doing their part to make alaTest.com even better than it already is.
Helena hails from a Business Director position with Samtrafiken i Sverige AB and chose to share a few words on her behalf, as well has a couple of her favorite gadgets on alaTest:
“At Samtrafiken my team was responsible for ticketing products and journey planners that gave travelers objective and impartial information regarding all available travel options by rail, bus, boat, airline and car in Sweden. We offered our solutions directly to end users as well as through partners and clients on the Business-to-Business (aka B2B) market.
alaTest is also all about offering valuable and objective information regarding all the different options that are available on the market so that consumers can make informed choices when buying products. And we want to make sure that consumers can find this objective product quality information both on our own alaTest sites as well as through retailers, manufacturers and other B2B partners.
“I choose to join alaTest because of the exciting challenge of building up and leading alaTest’s new global B2B Product Marketing team. We’ll be responsible for developing and launching the next generation of alaTest’s B2B solutions, in close cooperation with alaTest’s global sales, tech and Business-to-Consumer teams. Two gadgets that I just can’t live without are my Dell XPS 15 laptop and my iPhone 3GS.”
Christer comes from Eniro and brings his extensive search engine experience along to help ensure you can find everything you’re looking for on alaTest. He too felt the urge to give a brief introduction and share his favorite gadgets:
“At Eniro, I worked as Online Manager for many years, growing our local search engine footprint in the Scandinavian market place. And after several successful launches, starting out with Eniro.se, Eniro.dk and Eniro.fi in 2003, we had well over 10 million users a week. I really enjoyed the challenge running a search engine, driving revenues as well as user satisfaction at the same time, and I hope I will be able to contribute in growing alaTest’s footprint online as well.
“Favorite gadget? Have to say my iPhone 4. It’s simply great. And when running, I truly enjoy my Garmin Forerunner 305”
