i had this for about a week now for my small apartment. so far, so good. it does take a lot of humidity out of the air. we've had some hot humid days and i am happy with it. collects water quickly.

It is efficient and makes a difference in an instant. One downside is that it is a little bit on a noisy side. But for that price tag it is a good deal. Definitely suited for an average size household and UK climate.

The evaporative cooler is used with the door open in a 12x14 room. It isn't an air conditioner, but cools an object (aka person). Positioning the unit approx. 4 feet away from me, it keeps me comfortable all day. I add ice with the water.
