Quieter than other portable units I've used Relatively light weight, so easier to move Remote control simple and effective Window adapter allows narrow window opening

Noticeably less powerful than my previous 9000BTU unit Plastic casing expanding/contracting with temperature change occasionally causes loud clicks which negate the benefits of quieter fan/compressor Neither remote nor LCD displays current room...

it doesnt work the number 8 shows when I have tried to switch it on for the first time and cant find any reference to what the number - 8 - refers to
