Doesn't Cool well

 

I am very unhappy with this unit. It does not cool well at all! The intake hose is too close to the exhaust hose which blows out out extremely hot air. I plugged the intake slot in the plastic and just left the hose off of the intake so that it was...

We bought this for an upstairs room. It took 2 hours to decrease the temp from 90 to 85 in a 15x12 room, which should be no problem for a 12K BTU unit. All night long operation, which is loud for a bedroom, it only managed to cool the room to 78, 10...
