Meizu MX review: Amaze U

This is easily a phone you can pretend doesn't exist. And you don't have to try too hard either. The Meizu MX is something of a chimera. An iPhone body and a droid mind. It's not where you take things from - it's where you take them to. For a phone...

Meizu MX (unlocked) review: Meizu MX (unlocked)

Meizu MX (unlocked)

runs a unique and capable Android skin made to look like iOS. This compact smartphone is fast, fun to use, and boasts penta-band GSM compatibility.

The Meizu MX's camera isn't quite up to the superphone camera caliber of the iPhone 4 or Android, and its China-only availability puts it out of reach for most smartphone shoppers.

If you think you have no use for a Chinese iPhone clone running Android, the Meizu MX could drastically change your worldview. Despite a few quirks, the MX is a slick Android- and iOS- inspired hybrid that also flaunts a few tricks of its own.

Meizu MX Review (Quad-core)

Most people in the USA have never heard of Meizu, and that's because it is a Chinese company that has not yet entered the U.S market. However, they have made a name for themselves abroad by launching this cute quad-core [...]

The Meizu MX quad-core is an interesting phone from a design perspective, and we can see why it created so much noise when it was announced and available. Of course, the world has a bit changed since, but this handset clearly puts Meizu on the radar of...

Meizu MX Review

Can a Chinese smartphone manufacturer deliver a product that is not your run-of-the-mill slab of plastic, but a decent Android handset really worth getting? That is quite possible, it seems. The Meizu MX Android 4.0 smartphone is equipped with a high...

Future-proof Exynos processor ; Clean, unsophisticated interface

Plasticky construction ; Browser has troubles with Flash videos ; Almost no widgets come pre-loaded

The Meizu MX is a pretty good Android smartphone. Seriously! It comes with a well-made custom interface, a decent 4-inch display, and the hardware inside it classifies as future-proof. Perhaps the overly plasticky feel is the only thing that truly...

Meizu MX 4-Core Review

There is a lot to like about the Meizu MX. It symbolizes a nearly-perfect convergence of all the good stuff – but it needs more polishing and modernizing. The software is functional and fluid, but there are some bugs to come with it. Also, the device...

Meizu MX 4-Core Review: It's Like Sticking A V10 In A Ford Pinto

The MX 4-Core really is like a Ford Pinto with a V10 engine. The almost laughable combination of a cutting-edge quad-core Exynos processor with the MX's unassuming plastic form factor and dumbed-down software experience makes for quite the odd couple....

Meizu MX 4-core Review: Best Bang for Your Buck Quad-core Smartphone

Meizu MX 4-core Review If I were to sum up the Meizu MX 4-core in a sentence, it would be this: It is a delightful affordable quad-core Android device that's inspired by the Apple iPhone.
