RIM BlackBerry Curve 8350i (Nextel)

The BlackBerry Curve 8350i finally gives Nextel subscribers a proper smartphone option, even if it takes a few steps backward compared with its siblings.

Excellent voice quality. Comfortable QWERTY keyboard. Wi-Fi and 3G data radios. Great music and video playback.

Slow cellular data speeds (as is true of all Nextel phones). Nonstandard headphone jack. MicroSD card slot is buried underneath the battery. Unit is slightly larger and heavier than other Curve models.

The BlackBerry Curve 8350i is a smart choice for business users who require push-to-talk capabilities. The BlackBerry Curve 8330, which is $50 less, supports Sprint's faster EV-DO data network, TV playback, and a full music download store. However,...

BlackBerry Curve 8350i (Sprint Nextel) - A Review of the BlackBerry Curve 8350i Smart Phone

This iDEN smart phone takes the best of the Curve line and adds push-to-talk capability.

Good call quality, Excellent keyboard, Latest OS 4.6 installed, Full HTML browser

Slower iDEN data network, No 3.5mm jack, More expensive than original Curve

We appreciated the monochrome icons and the inclusion of software like DataViz's Documents to Go, which lets you make small edits and create Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents on the go. We experienced a few lags and hangs, but nothing more than we'd...

First introduced at CTIA Fall 2008 , the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8350i is finally available through Sprint . This is particularly good news for Nextel Direct Connect users, who haven't seen a new push-to-talk (PTT) BlackBerry model since the RIM...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 8350i offers Direct Connect push-to-talk capabilities as well as integrated Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The Curve 8350i also brings an updated OS, a full HTML Web browser, and more advanced multimedia capabilities.

The BlackBerry Curve 8350i can be sluggish at times and we had problems sending e-mails.

Nextel customers looking for a full-featured smartphone with the carrier's famed Direct Connect push-to-talk capabilities will be well-served by the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8350i.

BlackBerry 8350i

While not the first BlackBerry for use with Nextel's service, it certainly is the most attractive. Style aside, the Curve 8350i sports all the must-have features: WiFi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, access to multiple e-mail accounts, a rockin' multimedia...

BlackBerry Curve 8350i review | PhoneDog

For the most part, the device is a pleasure to use, and is a respectable addition to the BlackBerry lineup. Furthermore, it is a tremendous upgrade for iDEN BlackBerry users, who have been forced to use the BlackBerry 7100i for the past few years. The...
