Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman

The cute, powerful Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman has no cutting-edge features, but it does many things well.

Excellent sound quality. 2-megapixel camera. Small and light.

Doesn't play DRM'ed files. No speaker-independent voice recognition. No 3G.

our w810i came loaded with games and applications, including a photo-editing app, a tetris-like game, and an rss reader. cingular will probably clear those apps out when it starts selling the phone. the games you end up buying will play smoothly, as...

Sony Ericsson W810i (AT&T) review

Sony Ericsson W810i Over the past couple of years, Sony Ericsson has been something of an enigma in the cell phone world. Not only has it introduced far fewer phones into the U.S market than many of its rivals, but it doesn't let the absence of a...

The Sony Ericsson W810i is augmented by an attractive design; an improved keypad; great music quality; and a generous range of exceptional features, including Bluetooth, a 2-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, a memory card slot, and a speakerphone.

The Sony Ericsson W810i suffers from staticky call quality and glitchy music transfer software. Also, it lacks a Bluetooth stereo profile, and the integrated memory is limited to 20MB.

Sony Ericsson succeeds again with its third Walkman phone for the U.S. market, but the W810i brings only minor improvements over earlier models.

Sony Ericsson W810i

The W810i is a handsome, easily pocketable candy-bar phone in black with orange highlights. The small, charcoal-gray keys are nearly perfect, with excellent tactile snap and good separation. The 176-by-220 color screen is bright, though the resolution...

Is This the iPod Killer

Probably not, but with Sony Ericsson's new W810i Walkman phone, music lovers don't have to tote both an MP3 player and a cell phone everywhere they go.

Something funny is happening in Europe. While Apple Computer (AAPL) is still selling iPods by the boatload, more and more young people are ditching Apple's offerings in favor of Sony Ericsson's new Walkman phones. "I always carry my phone with me,...

Review: Sony Ericsson W810i Walkman Phone

The W810i is a candy bar-style phone measuring only 3.9 x 1.8 x 0.8 inches and weighing in at 3.5 ounces. We love its sleek black styling and its generous cool factor; it feel like a phone for night-clubbers who know the best undiscovered places

A press representative told us that the phone would likely be offered by a major US GSM network this fall, and would probably sell for between $149 and $199 with a service commitment. If you can wait, that would be a great deal on a music-playing phone...

Sony Ericsson W810i - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

Why limit yourself to only 100 songs? Sony Ericsson answers that question with the Walkman phone series that can load up a lot more tracks than Motorola's iTunes phones. And the latest Walkman phone in the US, the Sony Ericsson W810i can handle even...

Smaller form factor that feels very nice in the hand and a fashionable black body that will appeal to a wider audience than the W600i’s bright orange. 2.0 megapixel camera that takes great photos and videos, with strong camera software that has an...

The backlight on the number pad could be brighter around the edges. The limited features in the WAP browser won’t be attractive to the web surfers who need more than WAP content

The Sony Ericsson W810i will make a photo buff happy and keep music junkies jazzed. The phone has a great user interface, is easy to use and is attractive. Most important, it has very good voice quality and reception.

If you have been planning to get K750i/W800i, Sony Ericsson has just released another new handset that looks identical to K750i and bears similar functions to the W800i and more.
