Why on earth would you want to upscale a Foxtel signal ? Its bad in its native format.

Price. Pioneer's compeditors have the same model for 1/2 the price for 12 months. SCART ? SD tuner

Positive first impressions...but nothing amazing.

What to do when you want a high quality upscaling DVD player? Blu-ray players do this and obviously play...Blu-rays. HDD/DVD recorders also upscale, and offer the advantage over Blu-ray players in that they can obviously...record. I chose this Pioneer...

Pioneer DV LX60D

very intuitive, great upscaling, plays anything, has a jukebox function so you can load MP3's and jpg's onto the hard drive. Features Gemstar, a type of EPG, but far better than the norm. Without a doubt, the best Divx player I have ever had.

None to speak of, maybe the remote control is a bit plasticky, and the jog and shuttle on the remote is very sensative

A great piece of kit, if you can get it for the right price! I got mine on Ebay, BNIB, for £275 plus £20 p&p
