Pass this one, Fails right after warrenty expires.

Pass this one and get a cell phone with navigation or a model that is more reliable and has free map updates.

Worked for 1 year for a half dozen trips

no free map updates, Failed while i was in the middle of nowhere when used less than a dozen times with a flashing red X 2 weeks after the warranty expired. Unhelpful tech support if you can even get through to them. $10 if you want updated maps. Told...

Good price, but annoying features.

Don't buy it. Just typing this review makes me angry.

I bought it over a year ago here for $50. Great price at the time. It's since gone up

Price has gone up, lol ; Battery dried up just a few months into purchase. Won't hold a charge for more than a few minutes ; When you zoom out, it automatically zooms back in after a few seconds (and vice versa) - sometimes useful, mostly annoying ;...

Very disapointed

Get a Garmin. I hear they have better support for their products. I will be trying a Garmin next.

Easy to use. Easy to read. Nice mount

Updates are very difficult. Battery life is poor. Not worth the money. Mine just failed on a trip to CA. I cannot recommend this product. Stay away from this model of Tom Tom. Other models of Tom Tom maybe good, but this one isn't

works great!

This little guy has many features, is accurate, and works very well for the paulty price you ask. Has a dash base that stays, suction cup is sturdy, power cord is long enough, battery lasts a few hours. Daylight/nighttime screen is nice

My son won't give it back

Recertified: Tom Tom One 130 3.5"GPS Navigation with Spoken instruction

In case anyone wants to know how I fixed the GPS switch, here's what I did. (requires technical skill, follow at your own risk) Tools: Soldering iron, precision screwdrivers, solder, super glue Take off the light grey plastic frame on the GPS's front...

Cheap basic GPS

This GPS sends me through unnecessary detours sometimes ; After about a year of use, the GPS would no longer turn on. I tried a few solutions from Google, but none of them worked. I opened up the GPS unit and found that the switch had broken off the...

Glad I bought it

Wouldn't be without a GPS now. Going on a 2400 mile trip and I am debating upgrading the map or getting a newer TomTom GPS with an up-to-date map.

Never had any interest in getting a GPS but bought one for a friend who lived in a new area that she was always getting lost in and after I had used hers felt I really wanted one myself. The one I bought her and the first one I bought for me was the...

Well I mentioned the battery thing. Both the TomTom and the Garmin will occasionally (really rarely) give crazy instructions like getting off a highway then getting right back on for no reason. One other thing is that it sometimes computes time to...

Cheap and delightful Tomtom

I actually asked for an RMA because of the images the text conveys. I finally found a video (in Irish, I believe) that showed what is in the box and explained very clearly what to expect. I installed and it works. Like others, it gets confused in...

Cheap, fast and easy to control. The plastic cup sucks to the windshield firmly with a twist. Simple plug, fits in pocket. Vast improvement over the expensive old one that went aütistic on me

Instructions are in sth like Irish or Scottish (not Texan), so at first I thought it fastened with glue to the glass. It doesn't, but there is an included adhesive disk you can stick to the dash for an alternative suction mount spot. The USB plug is...

Hmm

I suggest if your new to GPS's and would like to purchase one that you come right here, and purchase this for the low price. Its well worth your money and its hassle free through newegg!

I would rate this at 5 eggs, but I haven't gotten a chance to go out and use it yet. I've read all over that none of the recertified units get free map update, so I'm wondering if everyone is doing it right? Right now mine is updating. It came packaged...

None as of yet, but if something goes wrong I'll be sure to come in and make another review
