Service and support

Sony VAIO TR

Lightweight; long battery life; built-in DVD/CD-RW drive; integrated video camera; dedicated flash media slot.

Tiny touchpad and mouse buttons; internal bay isn't swappable.

Road warriors will be hard-pressed to find another ultralight with lower weight, longer battery life, and more features than the Sony VAIO TR2A.

Sony VAIO PCG-TR1

The VAIO TR1 is a touch too diminutive to serve as your primary computer, but it's an excellent supplementary system for frequent travellers.
