A good mouse.

When paired with the A4 Tech X7 Keyboard it is a good combination made for one another. The Keyboard is sitting on the shelf after it experienced a sort of software seizure pending a reevaluation of future use or replacement. That Keyboard has seen...

I bought the mouse to go with the A4Tech Keyboard Anti Ghosting for Battlefield Purposes after being kicked from the game while trying to managed crowds of enemies in Metro with too many commands at once. (Ghosting is adding several movement commands...

Again the mouse was purchased to go with the A4 tech anti ghosting keyboard, eventually my arthritis has increased with it's small size requiring a finger tip type mousing which I really cannot continue to do. But it is not worth taking a star away, it...

why do people like this mouse?

I got this because [relative to the rest of the mice on newegg] it's cheap. I don't know what prompted the spike in cost for mice on newegg, but from now on I'm going to Provantage and Ergoguys for my mice.

.

I battled carpel tunnel and I won by rotating mice -- most ergo stuff like the 3M. My last mouse was conventional (my Logitech G9x is SO much better than A4Tech) so when the buttons started to fail I went for another conventional mouse. Within seconds...

A4Tech F5 is my favorite mouse.

My PC always automatically recognizes them, so I haven't really needed to use the enclosed software.

Quality is high on these mice. I have never had one stop working, even after severe abuse at my hands during gaming. They have each outlasted other famous brand mice of similar style that I used previously. The "3-Fire" button is great and I often use...

None really.

Perfect for Casual Gamer

The cons are not really considerations in my score, as they are so minor. The software "quirks", actually, may be because this is my first gaming mouse. I've been a casual gamer for a long time but my last mouse had a long life and I've never been...

Very fast and accurate. The feel is a nice textured rubber and the grip feels natural. A couple extra buttons for the casual gamer but not so many that it becomes complicated. The extra buttons themselves are well-positioned and won't be hit accidently...

The included software supports Windows only, meaning I can't set up modes on Linux, but the only games I use it for are mmo's which I have to run in my Windows drive anyway, so it's not an issue. Luckily, this also means it defaults to fastest settings...

A4Tech F5

I bought two of these as I use a laser mice on all computers. After using one of these you will never go back to optical. They spoil you quickly. I bought one of these about 2 years ago and it is still working so I put one on my kids computer for them...

can change DPI on the fly color coded so you know what DPI you are using macros for certain games to customize buttons.

Using the software it keeps changing the DPI to other than what I set it at.

Surprised

fit and feel are fantastic, really surprised by the quality of this mouse. Software works great.

only slight disadvantage is the location of the orange button sometimes gets in the way when scrolling lots of text.

Fast and Acurate

The mouse seems to require some clicking break-in time, just a little tight is all.

I picked up this mouse with a "ROCCAT ROC-13-400 Alumic – Double-Sided Gaming Mousepad" Mouse motion is very fast, and highly precise. This is plain and simple a quality product.

F5 V-Track

Very fast, i like the customization and the adjustable DPI, makes for a very versatile starter gaming mouse. Perfect price on sale, 25 bucks cant be beat. free shipping was good, got it within a week.

The only thing i have found so far that i do not like is the texture of it. Its grainy and not "Grippy" at all. I was under the assumption the mouse would be kinda rubery, not, like, idk cheap plastic feeling. But i guess im stuck with it now so i...
