HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One

The HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One delivers fast speed and a low running cost, making it a potentially good fit as an MFP for a micro office or busy home office.

Fast. Duplex (two-sided) printing. Ethernet. Wi-Fi. Wireless Direct (equivalent to Wi-Fi Direct). Low running cost

A little larger than most inkjet multifunction printers (MFPs). Only one paper tray. Subpar photo quality

Aimed primarily at micro offices, the HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One ($199.99) offers a full set of basic multifunction printer (MFP) features, plus a few extras, including mobile printing. It also delivers fast speed and a low running cost along...

HP Officejet Pro 8610 review

Fast, flexible and very affordable, this is a strong small office inkjet, with irritating drivers

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610

An Inkjet multi-function machine – that means it has fax - as well as scan, copy and print. This is part of the OfficeJet range and as such has a more substantial paper input tray than you might find on those units designed for home use.

The HP Officejet Pro 8610 is also a bit boxier given that it probably does not have to pass the lounge police, however with Wi-Fi there is no reason why it needs to be in view, it could sit behind a sofa or even in a cupboard. It is 47x44x29cm. The...

HP 8610

I printed some photos on plain paper, just a little more I could have framed them!

This Printer is fantastic! Very quiet, easy to setup and it looks good too. Purchased as an all around home printer it does just that, service the whole home, it's wireless and no one has asked me to print something for them yet! It aligned the...

I didn't have a phone jack where I initially wanted to put it for the fax to work and I don't fax enough to warrant the cost of a dedicated fax line haha

Solid Device that does everything I need for a reasonable price.

HP Ink subscription Program is what sold me on this. Straight to my door delivery of ink for a few dollars a month. Since the program tracks by page printed, not actual ink used, and I am printing mostly full page full color on cardstock, at a rate of...

I was sold on the following items in order ; HP Ink subscription Program ; Ability to handle Cardstock ; Individual Color Cartridges ; Network Capable ; Automated full duplex ; All in one device for ~ $100

Size - 60% larger than color laser it replaced. Note that this is unavoidable, just something to keep in mind ; Having HP playing big brother and tracking every page I print, but that goes with the lower cost of ink replacement program

Little Progress in 2 Years

Replaced a $120 Epson whose ADF finally gave up, which replaced a $120 predecessor to this model whose ADF finally gave up. The print cartridges on all these little printers will bankrupt you. After the HP I gave up and use the paper tray for dedicated...

ADF ; Simple installation

Funky duplexing process ; Excessive pop-ups to get thru the process - from 2-4 after the primary screen depending on what you need to accomplish ; You have to slightly pinch the paper between the ADF rails to keep image from skewing ; Default DPI...

Like this printer

Both 6210s were failing at the plastic hinges that were for the top rotating down. One would no longer stay down so the printer always said the top was not down and wouldn't print unless the top was pushed down. I suspect it will be a while before...

Works well, both as wired and wi-fi. This replaces two older 6210s that were on my LAN

Great performance and features

All those cons aside, this is a wonderful printer for the price. I have no doubts that it will satisfy anyone with a low to moderately heavy workload. It's a good alternative to the more expensive laser printers for a small office. That said, you're...

Fast! I've owned plenty of printers over the years and this is by far the fastest. I am very pleased with the speed, even when printing color documents and photos at the standard quality settings ; Full wireless capabilities, including direct wireless...

I do have to note that the first unit I received was completely DOA. It wouldn't even power on. There was no noticeable shipping damage to the unit itself, so I suspect that it left the factory this way. This really blows my mind and I can't imagine...

• I believe ink replacement cartridges are always an issue with Inkjet printers. I would suggest you check into where, the type (remanufactured or new) and the cost as part of your buying consideration. • Realize that quoted printing, copying, etc....

Define your needs. This is a multifunctional color device with printing, copying, faxing, and scanning. For example, do you need color such as photos? I find the multifunction capability very useful for me ; Pros ; Print rates and resolution are very...

USB ports are USB2, not USB3 ; I’m not a big fan of all the software that gets loaded onto your machine. For example, it isn’t easy to find the drivers separately, only an executable. I have a need for those drivers separately ; A knitpick: The...
