Philips Hue LightStrip Plus

The LightStrip Plus is a bright, colorful, and fun addition to the Philips Hue smart lighting ecosystem.

Very bright. Can be extended with additional sets. Easy setup.

Pricey. Requires hub to work.

Conclusion Like other Philips Hue products, the LightStrip Plus offers a wide range of colors and options, and it's easy to place just about anywhere you want. If you're already part of the Philips Hue ecosystem, it's a fun way to add some dramatic...

Battle of the LED light strips: Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus vs. Belkin WeMo + Osram Lightify Flex RGBW

LED light strips can be both fun (think synching lights to music under a disco ball) and practical (as I discovered with under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen). Here we compare the two main choices for DIYers in this category: the updated Philips Hue...

Brighter, whiter than original Lightstrip ; HomeKit support (you can use Siri to control your lights) ; Extension strips now available (to a maximum length of 33 feet)

Two-meter strip length is sub-optimal for smaller projects ; First-generation Hue owners must buy second-generation bridge to get HomeKit support ; No real starter kit: Lightstrip does not include wireless bridge

Philips gets serious with its flexible LED strip, giving smart homes an alternative to WeMo accent lighting.

Under cabinet lighting

Purchased four of these to go under the kitchen cabinets, they are expensive but compared to others they are competivly priced. The ability to change colour to match the kitchen decor is fabulous
