If I connect the TV to my cable, it picks up channels fine. Oddly, it can pick up one channel in a town 30 miles away. But it can't pick up our local TV station that is about 2 miles away. As a test, I disconnected the cable from one of my other TVs...

It's an A-OK personal tv. I live out in the country away from the city by 20 miles, and still happen to get at least 17-20 channels total (with included antenna.) I don't get 2-3 of those channels indoors, but all total channels come in fine outside....

This meets my needs. The best feature is the fact that it weighs less than a pound and therefore it is easy to move. We are on cable so this cannot be used on batteries. The reception and sound are fair.
