Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System

Excellent video quality. Weatherproof. Night vision. Can be configured for motion detection. Captures audio. Uses Powerline adapters for wired Ethernet, which is more reliable than Wi-Fi.

Requires a dedicated Windows PC to offload recordings. Not Mac-compatible. Remote access to recorded videos requires an additional yearly fee.

With its high-quality video, the waterproof Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System is an excellent way to monitor your home (inside and out) and record video when you're not there.

Logitech Alert 750e Outdoor Master System Review: Terrific Resolution, but Supports Only Six Cameras

Both Logitech's outdoor (shown here) and indoor cameras deliver exceptional video quality. The most impressive feature of the Logitech Alert video surveillance system is the quality of its cameras, both in terms of the resolution of their video (960 by...

High-resolution video (720p) ; Up to 32GB of storage (2GB MicroSD card included) ; Extremely easy to set up and configure

System cannot expand beyond six cameras ; Motion detection is difficult to fine-tune ; No pan/tilt cameras in Logitech's Alert ecosystem

If you don't need more coverage than six cameras can provide, Logitech's Alert video surveillance system is hard to beat.

Review: Logitech Alert 750E

This IP-connected security camera lets you keep an eye on your home via your PC or mobile, and avoids complicated wiring through the use of power-plug networking.

Stolen Camera?

It's great for what it does.

So this $250 camera stores up to 2 weeks of video internally. That's great. But it's not going to help if someone rips the camera off the wall and walks away with it before video is downloaded off of it. I would say that this is a major problem.

Excellent Video

I haven't tried the email alert function or the online web browser, but with the bug problem at night my phone would be alerting me constantly of motion detected. So, I don't plan on using that feature anyway.

Clear and crisp videos during the day. At night, the night vision works great up to about 30 feet and it would work even better if I had a street light nearby to illumunate the street, oh well I quess I can't have everything.

The Logitech Add-On 700i camera doesn't have night vision, so I can't observe the front door thru a window at night. I also notice that the 750e camera motion detector trips quite often at night due to bugs flying around the camera.

Do not buy

Got ripped off.

Have not been able to make it work yet. I've lost faith in these reviews. The high scores must be faked and submitted by the company.

Everything. It claims no additional wiring required, that is a lie. Too many requirements and problems to mention.
