I neglected to mention special price when I bought 4 of these. At the current price of $39 - run for the hills............

Price on special was $17 - $18 each

Live chat support is completely unknowledgeable. Why do companies even employ these people? Better to spend their money improving their products

Beware Skype Problem

Sometimes, I deviate from my known standards and I land up paying for these mistakes. I'm sorry Logitech, I won't forsake you again and will save up until I can afford your product offerings. If you buy cheap, you will get what you paid for in most...

Cheap. Reasonable quality video. About right for the price

Software not all compatible with Windows 7 Pro 64 ; More importantly, your video does not load on either side when using with Skype and someone calls you. Just have black square with timer circle. When you call out, it will load video on both sides ;...

Good when on sale

The biggest bummer to me is that you have no way to "clip" it easily to the top of a laptop - putting it on the desk is too low. You can try to balance it on top of the screen, and if the lid is thin enough, and frankenstein the stand to hold it...

Works with Windows 7, no drivers required. Works with OS X too (10.6 but probably all versions) ; Decent picture quality in good light. Grainy but OK in medium light. Not so good in low light ; Has an adjustable stand and is pretty small and...

Its light weight works against it sometimes; the rigidity of its standard USB cable tends to screw with the positioning ; Stand is OK for desk, but you won't be able to "clip" it to the top of a laptop or an LCD monitor. You can set it on top somewhat,...

Great webcam for the money

For the money, you can't beat this camera, and of course Newegg's outstanding customer service and fast shipping is a plus!

Clear picture with Skype, built-in microphone has good quality

Clip to attach webcam to laptop lid isn't very strong, so weight of USB cable tends to tilt webcam to one side

MICRO INNOVATIONS IC35CA USB 2.0 WebCam

You do not need the software WEBCAM to use the WebCam device. Use it for a coffee coaster.

none

Do not install the software WEBCAM that comes with the Web Cam device. The software that Web Cam company's package with there hardware is cumbersome and will configure your system so automatically connect to the internet, whether you have internet...

Not bad for a cheap cam

Don't be fooled by the $40 MSRP. This is a cheap camera. That said, it's a good deal if you get it on sale.

Bought for $17 on sale ; Good stand, easy to manipulate ; Decent image quality, although grainy ; Very lightweight. Easy to balance atop monitor ; Smaller than it appears in photos. Camera itself is about 7cm wide x 2.5cm high x 2cm deep

Built in microphone is ok, but can't handle higher volumes. A loud projecting voice will overwhelm the microphone ; Frame rate at 2.0MP is not very good ; No outer glass covering to protect the lens ; Overall build quality seems cheap

Fine Budget Camera

Only buy this if it's on sale, it's kind of a rip off otherwise.

2.0MP resolution. Small, not obnoxious looking. Works fine with Skype. Autofocus

Only 15fps at 2.0mp resolution

Works with Linux

Can't speak towards frame rates or Windows usage. I'm only grabbing an image once a second under Linux, so no issues for me. One of the best pictures of the webcams I've tried. Nice to see such a good webcam work out of the box under Linux.

Works great with the latest Linux kernel - plug and play. I'm using it to provide a pseudo-live video feed on my web server. Great picture
