Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

Advise: for technical people, these cameras can be installed without the cable management cords if all you need is POE. open the cap and remove the 2 little screws. The assembly slides off. You can disconnect all cables. Just run an ethernet cable and...

Works great!

Overall a very good experience over using analog cameras. Other than a PoE switch takes no special equipment or power supplies... very nice.

Installs easily! Apps work great

They really work best as fixed IP on peer-peer network. skip right to fixed IP. A little help in the documentation selecting SQL DB app would be helpful. Information on setting motion detection is a little confusing

Easy setup, HD quality, and high quality build

Great value. Had to change a couple settings to get the IR functioning properly but that wasn't a big deal. I plan to continue buying other Vivotek cameras. Wish there were more detailed reviews available but I guess they're sort of new.

Amazed by the quality/price point! Easy setup and includes free NVR software which is surprisingly good. Camera does HD quality without using too much processing power. Good IR range. One thing that was important was ONVIF standards since I will be...

The included pedestal mount is sub-par but that's really no big deal, just pick-up a decent mount and you'll be set. On-line documentation is really good so don't rely too much on the included quick guide
