I have bought this very recently and the sound is excellent.

This CD player is a real ​step up from my old Kenwood player. The sound is much cleaner and coupled with some Quad speakers and a Cambridge Audio amp, it really sings!

Works as good as it looks ---classy. I like the feature of track selection because there are usually at least one or two on a disc you're not very keen on. The remote makes it all easy also.
