Garmin's latest Dash Cam 57 is quite arguably the best front-only dash cam on the market. A parking mode has been added, and the company's new cloud-based Vault lets you upload important captures for temporary safekeeping.
Colorful, detailed captures day and night ; Small enough to hide behind your mirror ; Super-convenient magnetic mounting ; Phone and cloud connectivity
No rear camera option
If you need interior captures, check out the Garmin . Otherwise, the Dash Cam 57 (or the 67W, with 180-degree FOV) is our favorite front-only camera on the market. It’s pricey, but the best usually is, and the long warranty provides peace of mind.

The Garmin Dash Cam 57 packs a lot into its tiny frame.
Compact size ; Voice control ; Good safety features ; Easy-to-use magnetic mount
No glare filter ; Slightly fuzzy images at duskier times ; No touchscreen
If you’re in the market for a compact, unobtrusive dashcam and aren’t bothered by the lack of touchscreen or more prominent display, the Garmin 57 might be a perfect fit.

The Garmin 57 is an excellent dash cam with all of the features most drivers could ever need. From GPS and parking mode, to 1440p resolution with HDR, and a simple, compact windscreen mounting system, there’s a lot to like here. There’s also the new...
