Panasonic HC-X920

The Panasonic HC-X920 is one of the better camcorders we've tested, but it falls just short of our Editors' Choice rating.

3-chip design. 20-megapixel still capture. Wide aperture lens. Excellent image stabilization. 1080p60 video capture. Touch screen. EVF. Wi-Fi. Mic and headphone connectors. Manual focus ring.

Expensive. Limited zoom range. Limited battery life. No internal storage.

Video Quality and Conclusions The X920 uses a three-chip design, one for each primary color, each of which is 1/2.3-inches in size. The configuration delivers some impressive video quality, noticeably better than lower end models that we've tested. The...

Panasonic HC-X920 Review

The best aspects of the Panasonic HC-X920 are its image quality and its physical design. Although its menus and touchscreen left us a little unimpressed and its zoom range is relatively short, we think these are fair tradeoffs for best-in-class image...

This camera features best-in-class image quality.

The touchscreen isn’t as responsive as we’d like.

This camera produces better image quality than anything else we tested and features a great set of physical controls. Any qualms we have with its touchscreen performance are dwarfed by these benefits.

Panasonic HC-X920

Panasonic's new flagship has the same look of its predecessors, but it's got a few new tricks under the hood.

The WiFi features are a good start, but we'd like to see more from Panasonic's next flagship.

Panasonic HC-X920

The HC-X920 proves Panasonic is still top dog for high-end consumers camcorders.

Class-leading image quality ; Manual controls including lens focus ring ; Extensive new WiFi features

Optional 3D just as limited as previous flagship model

The Intelligent Auto button now calls up a new menu of options, with iA adding control over exposure and colour balance to the automatic mix. This menu also provides rapid access to scene modes, plus creative options including a faux tilt-shift...

Panasonic HC-X920 camcorder

Any company making camcorders has its work cut out these days. The whole sphere of producing video has changed so much in recent years that there's only room for a couple of companies to have a crack of the whip, and actually make any money. You might...

Fantastic picture quality, compact, Wi-Fi modes are helpful, lovely to use

Wi-Fi app can be a bit flaky, quite expensive, compact cameras offer a lot of the features, Wi-Fi is a battery killer

You might be a little sceptical about the need for a proper video camera in the days of DSLRs and phones, but we promise you, there's something a lot nicer about picking up a tool designed to do the job. Sure, you can do all DIY with a hammer if need...

Panasonic HC-X920 HD camcorder pictures and hands-on - Pocket-lint

Panasonic's 9 series camcorders are, somewhat predictably, having their yearly refresh. The HC-X920 will replace the HC-X900 and have many of the same

Consumer review (newegg.com)

This should be 4-5 stars

This camera is not a 1,000 camera. It is over rpiced even with the good rpices that new egg offered. It is a consumer vehicle for home video I would have been better of buying top of the line Sony consummer @more money

This gets fine video, The camera stil shots are incredible

It is almost impossible to easily access the live streaming from outside locations The system is complex ad difficulte to use The body heats up easily

Consumer review (bhphotovideo.com)

Great image, fair ergonomics

Using this primarily to record gymnastics competitions. I've been able to create stunning videos (razor sharp clarity, beautiful, accurate colors) under challenging conditions (dim fluorescent lighting, fast action, long distances to the subject)....
