3d quality is excellent as is the surround sound
The point of balance should be where the tripod fitment goes.. To watch your movies in 3d you have to reload them onto the camera from the place you stored them.

It's a great camcorder with a great picture . 3d is what you would expect .
It's a real pain trying to export the footage especially 3 d when working on a Mac and using anything other than Vegas.
