Honor 10 review

The colorful Honor 10's camera is the reason to buy this well-priced phone.

Phantom blue color scheme looks fantastic ; Excellent camera ; Decent battery life ; Low price

Performance doesn’t always impress ; Fingerprint sensor can be slow

We’ve fallen for the deliciously-styled, kaleidoscopically-colored Honor 10 because of its enviable camera, and tempting price.

Honor 10

The attractive Honor 10 offers a flagship phone experience for a fraction of the price.

High-end CPU for a midrange price. Fun camera effects including bokeh, 2x lossless zoom, and AI-assisted scene recognition.

Unlikely to come to US carriers. Fingerprint magnet. Photos are often oversaturated.

The Honor 10 is a solid value, offering a semblance of the flagship experience for significantly less money. Its network and processing performance are close to pricier models (including Huawei's own P20 Pro) thanks to a Cat 18 antenna and Kirin 970...

Honor 10 is no match for the OnePlus 6

A lovely blue and purple finish and a reasonable price tag aren't enough to put the Honor 10 over the top.

The Honor 10 delivers the same fast speeds and stylish colours as its cousin, the Huawei P20 Pro, at half the price. It has a standard headphone jack too.

The camera doesn’t begin to approach the excellence of the P20 models or the similarly priced OnePlus 6.

The Honor 10 is a stylish midrange Android phone, but the OnePlus 6 offers better performance all round for only a little more money.

Honor 10 Review: Peacock strut with decent guts

The Honor 10 is one of this year's best phones that was not officially planned for release inside the United States. But don't let that silly bit of business stop you. This smartphone is a work of art - not necessarily as a traditional does-everything...

Camera AI is intriguing and usable ; Hardware is beautiful ; Price is right ; Battery life is good ; Most photos are top-notch

Display seems caught between fullscreen and traditional ; Notch / Fingerprint scanner up front seem counter-intuitive ; No water / dust resistance ; Display not great for direct sunlight

Honor 10 Smartphone Review

Challenge to fight. The Honor 10 represents this year's flagship smartphone of the Huawei subsidiary, offering high-end specifications with a strong dual camera at a mid-range price. Moreover, the smartphone is offered in new and unusual colors. A...

strong price-performance ratio ; good display ; decent speaker ; unusual color options ; accurate GPS ; Dual-SIM ; fast SoC ; good camera

few supported LTE bands ; storage expansion not possible anymore ; danger of overheating under constant load ; bloatware ; only Bluetooth 4.2

With the 10, Honor goes one better and does not only offer a fine-tuned version of last-year's model, but also courageous color variants, shocking the competition with a strong entry price of 399 Euros (~$468). Anyone looking for an elegant smartphone...

Honor 10 Review

Honor's back with another flagship that delivers plenty of bang without breaking the bank – the Honor 10. Priced at €449.90 for the 128 GB version and €399.90 for the 64 GB option, can the Honor 10 be an international hit and a device possibly worth...

Beautiful glass design ; Prompt performance ; Solid battery life

Glass back has questionable durability ; Image processing could use some work

Honor 10 review: Flagship features at a mid-range price Review | ZDNet

The Honor 10 is an excellent mid-range handset with plenty of flagship-class features, including a Kirin 970 chipset, 128GB of internal storage, and AI-assisted cameras.

128GB of internal storage ; Two SIM slots ; Good screen with reading mode ; Good battery life ; Firmware update gives speed boost ; IR blaster

Iridescent glass back is slippy and a fingerprint magnet ; No MicroSD slot ; Awkwardly located fingerprint scanner

Honor 10 Review

These days, there’s a good smartphone available for the majority of people, no matter what their budget. The Honor 10, with it’s £399 price tag falls squarely into the “mid-range” segment of the market, but gives you a lot of value considering it’s...

Honor 10 Review

Past couple of years have marked the rise in the mid-range flagship segment with the offerings from companies like Honor, Xiaomi and the OnePlus. These are the devices with few compromises yet offers an excellent experience at half the price of the...

Good Display ; Good Design and build quality ; Smooth Performance ; Value for money

No OIS ; Not water resistant ; Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is a bit slow ; EMUI interface might not be preferred by everyone

The Honor 10 comes in Phantom Blue and Midnight Black colors in India carrying a price tag of Rs. 32,999. It is available exclusively from

Honor 10 Review: Future driven AI Android smartphone with an excellent camera

Priced at Rs. 32,999, Honor 10 offers an AI enabled dual-lens camera setup and is powered by Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 970 AI chipset. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 and sports a 5.84-inch FHD+ display.

Excellent Camera Performance ; Premium and handy design ; Crisp FHD+ display ; Snappy performance

Buggy Fingerprint scanner ; No water-dust resistivity ; No microSD card support

Honor 10 is an excellent value for money deal in its respective price-segment, especially for photography enthusiasts. It is smart, snappy and looks stylish. However, it is not perfect and also has some definite letdowns in the form of no microSD card...
