LG Flare LX175 - black (Virgin Mobile) review: LG Flare LX175 - black (Virgin Mobile)

LG Flare LX175 - black (Virgin Mobile)

The Virgin Mobile Flare is a basic entry-level flip phone with a speakerphone, Bluetooth, and voice dialing.

The Virgin Mobile Flare feels a bit cheap, and its speakerphone call quality was so-so.

The Virgin Mobile Flare is a simple, easy-to-use, affordable phone from Virgin Mobile.

Decent little phone

For a prepaid option, this is a decent little phone. Nothing fancy on it, but didn't expect that for the price. Battery life not fantastic, but good enough. Like the screen on the front!

Easy To Use

Good Buy, Good Phone

I got this phone a little over a year ago and am extremely satisfied. I feel that virgin mobile really cares about its customers. The company is geared towards teenagers, as can be shown by their website, but I think anyone of any age would be...

Good service, Nice design

Virgin Mobile

The phone is below par for even a cheap phone, the talk and standby times are far shorter than advertised and the battery gets dangerously hot during use - plugged in or unplugged. My main beef is with the abominable service that Virgin Mobile...

Bad from listeners perspective

My boyfriend has had this phone for a little while and from his perspective he thinks it's okay, but from the other end I really dislike it. There is always static and friction when he makes the slightest movements as if he were rubbing the speaker up...

ok phone

I have tried quite a few phones that Virgin has to offer, and most are not that great of quality. But I will say that this is one of their, at least, average phones. The screen has a nice quality to it, and it is color. The outside screen is decent...

simple phone, cheap

not enough features

Does The Flare Shine Or Fade In Virgin Mobile's Prepaid Lineup?

If you're familiar with Virgin Mobile, then you're probably aware that many of their past entries in their cellphone lineup are really cheap and somewhat cheesy in build and quality. Sure, Virgin Mobile is a pay-as-you go wireless provider that doesn't...

Looks nice, good set of features, Bluetooth enabled, affordable

Battery life is a bit low, glossy exterior attracts smudges
