LG Optimus G Pro for AT&T: what's different?

Two Galaxy Notes and two Optimus Vus later, LG's ready to tackle the giant-sized smartphone niche, this time without the category's defining accessory: a

Powerful processor ; Gorgeous 1080p display ; Solid build quality

Disappointing battery life ; Confusing Android skin

Its winning mix of size, specs and price makes the LG Optimus G Pro a smart buy for AT&T customers seeking a Note II alternative.

LG Optimus G Pro review: Proceed to checkout

Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, 3G with HSPA; LTE, 5.5" 16M-color 1080p True HD IPS Plus FullHD capacitive touchscreen; works with gloves, Android OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean; LG Optimus UI, Quad-core 1.7 GHz Krait 300 CPU, 2 GB RAM, Adreno 320 GPU, Qualcomm...

Reflective screen doesn't do too well outdoors, No Android 4.2 at launch, 1080p video quality is unimpressive, HDR video is poor, Over-sensitive screen prone to accidental taps

The LG Optimus G Pro is the most advanced phablet on the market at the moment. It's also one of the few devices with a 1080p screen that's bigger than 5". The new Snapdragon 600 chipset is still rare enough too. The updated version of QSlide is there...

Review: LG Optimus G Pro (Videos)

LG Optimus G Pro review: a phone that lives up to Note-sized expectations

The large-phone craze is rocking the world like a hurricane, and LG is no stranger to this trend: within the last year, the Korean manufacturer has

Incredibly zippy processor ; 1080p display is gorgeous ; Solid build quality and design ; Good battery life, comes with a spare

Some may lament lack of stylus ; Limited UMTS and LTE frequencies

With a beautiful display, super-fast processor and other top-of-the-line features, the Optimus G Pro is a rock-solid Note II competitor sans the stylus.

LG Optimus G Pro preview: First look

The newly announced Optimus G Pro books LG a spot in the Android hall of fame. A quad-core Snapdragon 600 chipset, a 5.5" FullHD display and a 13MP camera is the right kind of ammo of a proper flagship. The bar has been consitently raised over the past...

Big, Big Love

Remember when mobile phones looked like military-grade tools and required satchel-sized battery cases? It's easy to scoff at them now, but Android handset makers seem hellbent on returning us to those days, or at least the updated equivalent. The giant...

LG Optimus G Pro (AT&T)

The LG Optimus G Pro is a well-designed, well-sized phablet with an accent on the phone part, balancing a big screen and single-handed usability admirably.

Actually feels like a phone, not a mini-tablet. Sharp screen. Fast processor. Very customizable UI.

Call quality and camera quality could be better. You can't multitask enough apps.

LG Optimus G Pro (AT&T) review:

After months of speculation, LG confirmed on Wednesday that its Optimus G Pro will be available exclusively on AT&T on May 10 for $199.99 after contract, with preorders beginning May 3.

The 4G LTE LG Optimus G Pro is reasonably priced and has an impressively fast Snapdragon 600 processor, and its expansive screen is sharp and bright.

The Optimus G Pro's size will prove too big for some, and battery reserves drain quickly.

Though it lacks a stylus, the Optimus G Pro is not only armed with high-end specs, but it's also still cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 -- making it the best AT&T phablet available now.

LG Optimus G Pro review

Anything you can do, I can do better... LG and Samsung are in the midst of a battle. An epic back-and-forth. A billions-of-dollars tit-for-tat. The two Korean conglomerates, part of the chaebol...

Big, beautiful display ; Excellent performance ; Some smart software for the big screen

Big and cumbersome ; Poor speakers ; Some ugly software enhancements

I don't want this phone, or any phone this big, but there are good reasons to consider it

AT&T LG Optimus G Pro Review

The LG Optimus G Pro brings a massive upgrade to the LG Optimus G , a device put together so well that Google decided to use it for its most recent hero smartphone, the Nexus 4 . The LG Optimus G Pro has been released internationally with essentially...

The LG Optimus G Pro is a rather fine piece of machinery. It’s offers you an alternative to the HTC One and/or Samsung GALAXY S 4 here up on the top tier with its similar display (larger, though again, with the same amount of pixels), identical...
