Never heard of Nothing? That's about to change, because the excellent Nothing Phone 2 deserves everyone's attention. It really is that good.
Great, modern design Glyph lights are cool and useful Clean, yet customizable software Excellent daytime camera Colorful screen
Only IP54 water resistance Poor lowlight camera performance
“The Nothing Phone 2's eye-catching design and cool Glyph lights are just the beginning, as the screen, performance, and camera all impress too.”

The Nothing Phone (2) premieres one year after the first Nothing phone, and it is shaping as an amazing sequel offering enough relevant upgrades - an...
Unique glass design with Glyph UI, IP54-rated.
No high refresh rate gaming; some GPU throttling may occur.
But if you do, or you just want a breath of fresh air, an innovation of sorts in an otherwise boring market, the Nothing Phone (2), or (1), will not disappoint you. On the contrary, the Phone (2) offers a thoughtful pick of features with a pinch of...

Premium feel ; Unique Glyph light system ; Snappy performance
Poor camera quality ; Glyph lights can be distracting
Trying to be more intentional in how you use your phone? The Nothing Phone (2) will have a certain appeal, thanks to its slick software and Glyph indicator lights. But its mediocre camera may be a deal-breaker.

This new Android phone has a unique interface and an array of LEDs on the back for notifications. And its $599 price makes it a welcome entry into the midrange US market.
Super smooth performance. Lovely screen. Good battery life. Slick and well-designed software with nifty features. Three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Glyph lights are more useful (and fun) but still mostly gimmicky. Includes...
The Pixel 7A is cheaper and has better cameras. Lots of chromatic aberration. Not supported on Verizon. Only IP54 water resistant.

The Nothing Phone 2 is a little better than its predecessor in a lot of ways. It has a bigger battery, brighter screen, and takes the light strip “Glyph” notification system a step further.
The Phone 2’s whole deal would be a little tiresome if the device itself wasn’t good. That’s not the case. This is a thoroughly good midrange phone, and it’s trying to do something a little different. I appreciate that. I just don’t think it’s for me —...

Nothing takes another crack at something.
Refined unique aesthetic ; Premium feel in the hand ; Nothing OS 2.0 is gorgeously productive ; Glyph lights are actually useful…
…but may still feel a little gimmicky to some ; Raw power doesn’t match its competition ; Possible problems for people with epilepsy ; Glass back is a fingerprint and scratch magnet
The Nothing phone (2) is the true standout flagship phone I’ve been looking for. While the performance may not reach the lofty highs of the bleeding edge, you will love the retro-futuristic aesthetic across both hardware and software, the zippy speed,...

Nothing Phone (2) emerges as the next form of the brand's unique design and experience, this time rolling with a decent camera array and a much higher price.
Improvements everywhere ; Good, solid cameras ; Awesome software ; Fun design
Some weird software choices ; Double the price of its predecessor

The Nothing Phone (2) is out and we ran it through all our tests. Battery, performance, and camera — is the Nothing Phone (2) worth it? Here's our review...
Unique, quirky, interesting design ; Good display and performance at great price point ; Nothing OS offers great homescreen customization
Speakers are a bit tinny ; The UI needs more reskinning to keep the feel consistent throughout phone ; Camera improvements are noted, but it still needs work

Our Nothing Phone 2 review takes a close look at this $599 Android mid-range smartphone with a powerful processor and enhanced glyph lighting. Nothing Phone 2 reviewBottom LineThe Nothing Phone (2) takes inspiration from the iPhone's shape, and adds a...
Beautiful with a refreshing personality ; Glyph lighting is actually useful ; OS is clean and snappy ; Well powered with a good all-around performance ; Solid battery life ; Respectable camera
No eSim ; No always-on option for the nothing glyph lighting ; No power brick ; Haptics while typing is too strong and can't be adjusted ; Only 2X optical zoom
