Outstanding design and build, IPX4 splash proof.

No HFR gaming.

Yes, we enjoyed this OnePlus, both Open and Closed. It is one of the best combinations of a smartphone, tablet, and cameraphone, and we highly recommend it, especially once its launch price has settled a bit.

OnePlus Open review: right size, wrong price

OnePlus loves to tout its “no compromises” tagline, but in the case of its first foldable phone , a few more compromises would have been good.

Thin and light for a foldable ; Great format that feels like a normal phone when it’s closed ; Good multitasking support

Lacks full water resistance ; No wireless charging ; Price is too high considering missing features

I think the best thing the OnePlus Open can do is push Samsung and Google to more aggressive innovation on their phones. We don’t need to imagine what a foldable might look like if it occupied the middle ground between the Galaxy and Pixel foldable...
