Samsung Galaxy Note for T-Mobile review

More InfoSamsung Galaxy Note reviewAT&T Galaxy Note reviewT-Mobile officially confirms Samsung Galaxy Note, more details in coming

Beautiful display ; Excellent camera ; Top-notch S Pen productivity apps ; Cohesive user interface

Performance is no longer cutting-edge ; Lacks notification light

While the Galaxy Note's specs no longer feel bleeding-edge, we've yet to see a pen-enabled phone as pleasant to use as this.

Samsung Galaxy Note I717 review: Pushing the envelope

Samsung has high hopes for the LTE packing Galaxy Note I717 in the United States. Since its launch during CES, the AT&T exclusive device has enjoyed a marketing push like no other Samsung offering to date, including the Galaxy S II lineup. It appeared...

Like it or not, there is nothing else like the Samsung Galaxy Note I717 on the U.S. market at the moment. The Korean giant deserves a lot of credit for carving a new niche in a market, which is seriously saturated with all sorts of smartphones and...

AT&T Galaxy Note review

It was once said that if a phone or tablet used a stylus its hardware designers had blown it. It was also said that if the software on that device

Solid battery life ; Screen as beautiful as it is spacious ; LTE speeds

A bit too large for some ; Performance and battery life not as good as international release ; No Ice Cream Sandwich yet

AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy Note isn't the best in the world, but it's still very, very good.

Samsung Galaxy Note review

Remember the display on your first mobile phone? If you've been chatting on the go for as long as we have, it was probably barely big enough to fit a

Excellent performance ; Enormous, high-res Super AMOLED display ; S Pen is a clever, no-compromise addition

May be too large for some ; Awkward to use for voice calls ; S Pen button rather small

Samsung's Galaxy Note is massively good but simply too massive for some.

Samsung Galaxy Note (T-Mobile)

Starved for smartphone screen real estate? The 5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note for T-Mobile gives you the biggest window on the world that you can still fit into a pocket.

Huge Display. Fast Internet speeds. Ships with Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich."

Too big for many people to use one-handed. 4.0 isn't the most recent version on Android any more.

The new version has fixed some of the complaints I had about software on the original Galaxy Note, but not others. You still can't download tablet-only apps like Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and the Adobe Touch apps. TweetDeck and Facebook still don't use...

Samsung Galaxy Note Review: Now With Android 4.0

The Samsung Galaxy Note ($300 with a two-year contract; price as of February 14, 2012) has been out for a while internationally, but on February 19, the 5.3-inch phone with a stylus-like pen will arrive on U.S. shores exclusively on AT&T's 4G LTE...

Large, bright display ; Snappy performance ; Pen works well with user interface

A bit too large for a phone ; Not enough apps support the pen

With its large display and stylus-like pen, the Samsung Galaxy Note is a refreshing departure from the smartphone pack, but its design won't please everyone. Additionally, not enough apps support the pen right now.

Review: Samsung Galaxy Note

The Samsung Galaxy Note's massive, 5.3-inch display is great for watching movies and playing games. But it's just too big for everything else.

It’s too big to carry comfortably, and too bulky use with one hand. The stylus is nice, but the software to support it isn’t there yet. Also, it has a stylus. Android 2.3 with Samsung’s TouchWiz skin makes me yearn for ICS. Astounding amount of AT&T...

Solid HSPA+ performance ; Gorgeous display ; High quality camera ; Runs Android 4.0

One size fits none ; A couple of software bugs ; Handwriting recognition could be better

The ultimate converged device or just a 5.3-inch gimmick?

Samsung Galaxy Note (AT&T)

The Samsung Galaxy Note is an unfortunate tweener, satisfying neither phone nor tablet buyers.

Gorgeous screen. Slim. Pressure sensitive stylus for drawing.

Phone software doesn't take advantage of large screen. Impossible to use one-handed.
