I gave these to my brother to replace his broken 5 piece set, which cost significantly more, and these sound as good as his broken set . These have an decent sound and they have good volume. For the price, I don't think you can find a better speaker.
I don't think you can find a better speaker for the price. I had to give these 5 eggs because of the value. They have good sound reproduction for being a 2 piece speaker
They don't sound as good as top end 5 piece speakers

Small footprint, good sound for its size. My daughter uses this at her computer and it does sound pretty good for the cost/quality ratio
Blue Light....a little on the bright side

If you need more bass, get 2.1 or better. I have these paired with a cheap soundblaster live! value card and couldn't be happier. I have this settup on 2 systems in my home.
Yes, clean accurate sound for 16 bucks. Love the headphone and aux jacks
Not much bass but you know that, they are 2.0 after all. At first the Way-too-bright light was offensive, but as my kid demonstrated, you just turn it off when not in use. No more problem

These little speakers are outstanding. I never dreamed a pair of $15 speakers would sound this good

Great price and for the money the sound is good when used with a decent EQ. Headphone jack on the front for easy access is nice, perfect size for desktop taking up little room
The LED light as others have mentioned is REALLY BRIGHT, it can be seen from space, cover it up and it becomes a non issue

If you live in a small apartment like mine with 4 others in your house, these speakers are PERFECT for you...TRUST ME.
Sleek slim design; Headphone/AUX jacks are on the front panel for very easy access; Very good sound for the price; Buttons easy to rotate
Like they all said and I didn't believe...the LED is WAY too bright, but its not to the point where it's bothersome
Consumer review (newegg.com)
definately worth the money if you just need some speakers without a sub.
For the price great set of speakers
light on it is VERY BRIGHT. Doesn't have the sound of say a system with a sub, but does a good job
Consumer review (newegg.com)
The light is bright - no big deal to me. Might want to make note that it does have the large plug in - this might be important if you don't have room on your powerstrip.
Perfect if you need some good looking speakers that do not take up a lot of room. The sound is excellent if you just listen to some music while working

I've bought about four sets of these speakers over the last couple of years. For those that aren't looking for high fidelity, these are a great choice over the cheap/simple speaker alternatives (and don't even think about using speakers built into the...
Great sound for their size ; Great price ; Attractive with black/silver case and components
Blue LED power light is WAY too bright ; Round knob just for on/off doesn't make much sense. It should have be integrated into the volume control ; Signal knob tone control not very useful
Consumer review (newegg.com)
They could simmer down a bit on the brightness of the Blue Power LED.
Seems to have a pure sound for the mp3s/cds that I listen to
When gaming, sounds like gun fire comes through a bit "tinny" but that might be my old sound card
