JBL On Air Wireless
The ; is a $350 Internet-connected FM radio alarm clock that features Apple AirPlay functionality. Its odd round speaker sounds great and can handle a wide variety of music.
At $350, the JBL On Air Wireless is too expensive. We also wish it were a bit more mobile and practical for outdoor situations. The remote control is flimsy but functional, and the menu has a tendency to lag from time to time.
While we think it's overpriced, the JBL On Air Wireless speaker dock is a great-sounding device with the luxury of Apple AirPlay built right in.

The streaming AirPlay functionality is a nice feature, but a $350 iPod dock should sound far better than the JBL On Air Wireless does.
Cool design. Streams audio from iPods, iPhones, and iPads wirelessly via Apple AirPlay. Useful remote. Alarm clock capabilities.
Overpriced. Audio distorts even at moderate volumes. User interface can be pesky to navigate, feels out of date.

Easy on the senses, hard on the wallet.
Seamless connection using AirPlay; Very easy setup; Good sound; Screen displays album art in high-res
Lags whenever new song is played; Slow menus; External FM antenna attachment is ugly; Expensive for this range of iPod docks
At any time if you change the song, there’s still going to be this small lag between the On Air and your iPhone or iPod. And while you’re playing songs when your device is plugged into the dock, I would rather go through the iPhone’s menu on the phone...

Portable audio docks have been around and docks designed specially for Apple's iPod, iPhone and iPads have been in plenty. JBL has a ton of these docks
The price of the JBL On Air Wireless is Rs. 17,500 in India. This isn’t exactly affordable. For its compact size, it’s got a lot of power, but it’s not necessarily great sounding.

There's a lot to like about JBL's good-looking AirPlay speaker

Bought as a christmas present for my partner who was thrilled with it.

Looks cool and has great, clear audio. The album artwork display is a nice touch, especially if it's being used with Airplay, rather than as an iPod dock.
Sometimes loses connection to WiFi and to rejoin I have to turn it off and on again, which takes a while.
