Great and Easy to Setup
This PC is a few generations old, and if you are looking for a budget, entry level PC, then this is for you. Good gift for your older parents or grandparents that just use for Facebook, e-mail and browsing.
Really love the ease out of the box. No issues during setup and upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10
No rear fan, (I don't see this as an issue, as my mother-in-law, will not be taxing this system too much. Made a pop sound when plugged in, I would guess this was a build up of static. It scared me, thought it was DOA, but it worked like a charm!

Far faster and easy to get set up after drivers were found.
I wish they had included a disk with drivers for network and sound.

WARRANTY VOID IF OPENED SEAL ON BACK.
Good machine for price.
Warranty void seal on back I wanted to add an extra hard drive. Minus 2 Stars for this. USB ports directly above DVD tray. 8X DVD+R DL only burning at 4X. Same DVD burn at 6X in my laptop. Case rattles sometimes. Hard drive has a whining sound.

Good, as long as everything works.....
Like anything, you take a chance that it will work. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought one at a brick and mortar store that I can return it to if there's any problems. It's their faulty equipment, they should pay all costs to have it...
Everything is good except the DVD RW drive
DVD RW drive hasn't worked basically since day 1. Tried everything I knew (uninstall, re-install, etc.), then called customer service. They said the only thing left to do was to do a system restore. So I did that and the drive worked for a couple days...

Excellent Asus machine
Couldn't bear the thought of willingly suggesting another Dell or HP for the office when Asus packs better specs for a better price. Asus and Newegg FTW!
Ordered this for a new PC for office use, along with a 120GB 850 EVO SSD. SSD install and Windows 8.1 setup on it was quick and easy. It's silent unless you stick your ear up next to the side panel vent. Runs flawlessly

Satisfied
I hesitated after I read the negative review, but only for a moment. I have only built my own in the past and this unit is trouble free, but then, it's what I've come to expect from Asus.
