Good little basic PC.
This is just going to be a basic shop PC. I didn't need a lot of speed or a huge hard drive. For the price this one fits my need at a good price. So far it is working fine.
Small hard drive, but for the price it's not really a "con."

AST (manufacturer that warranties this product) has poor customer service
Easy set up, great deal for money - if it fully worked. NewEgg customer service is great despite AST's poor customer service.
Seems like a simple software glitch, but AST does not return customer service requests in a timely manner (I'm still waiting after a week). If I am correct, there is a corruption of the OS that is not allowing any downloads (including Windows Update...

Refurbished DELL OptiPlex 740 Athlon X2 2.0GHz 2GB 160GB HDD Windows 7 Home Premium
I run this PC on a network with a RAID NAS, so the 160 GB HDD is not a problem. It would be easy and inexpensive to upgrade the HDD to a more spacious model.
92.99 was a great price for a good computer for our Church Admin work area. It is fairly fast and worked well right out of the box. The clean install of Windows 7 operating system allowed for easy setup ; Worked like a new PC out of the box
Clean install of Windows 7 required a bit of time to download over 200 updates

Dell OptiPlex 740
I messed up the setup on the operating system and had to call for tech help. On hold for 3 minutes and then a cheery guy replied. He had me up and running in less than 5 minutes as he talked me through it.
It's a great little computer for a business office. Mine has been on X 3 months without a problem. It's relatively fast and more than half the price of the computer would be the operating system if you had to buy it. And Adobe PDF complete edtion comes...
The solvent they use to clean the boards after refurbishing have an odor that stays around for several weeks. I happened to like that smell, as I do jet fuel and diesel, so that should be in the Pros section! But my staff didn't care much for it

Stable Windows 7 System. Perfect for light booking and occasional internet browsing. Runs Cool. Not a bad system for light using
